New cases of bird flu reported in Maryland, Michigan and Indiana

Maryland
  • Cecil County:   354,100 commercial table egg pullets.  
  • 5th Maryland flock in 2026.
 Michigan
  • Kent County:  51,700 commercial meat turkeys was involved. Just one day earlier,
  • Kent County:  26,700 commercial meat turkey.
  • Only 2 Michigan cases in 2026 so far
Indiana
  • LaGrange County:  7,700 commercial meat ducks
  • LaGrange County:  8,pp commercial meat ducks
  • Total of 19 flocks have been infected in Indiana so far this year.
