The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) reported that on January 2, the presence of HPAI was confirmed in a flock of 15,700 gamebirds in Anderson County and another flock of 4,600 gamebirds in Nemaha County.
Both flocks were being raised for release.
