Roy Graber reports:
According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), the presence of HPAI was confirmed in a flock of 45,800 commercial broiler breeder pullets in Cleveland County on December 23.
The Arkansas Department of Agriculture on December 19 reported that HPAI had been detected there, and that it was working with the USDA on the response, but at the time offered no specific information about the involved flock.
This marks the third commercial poultry operation in Arkansas to be affected by HPAI in 2025, but the first since January.
