Bird flu cases reported in Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and Kansas

Pennsylvania:  Commercial broiler flock of 157,300 chickens in Lancaster County, 13th in the county so far in 2026, 14th in the state.
South Dakota:   50,400 commercial meat turkeys in Beadle County, third outbreak to hit a commercial poultry in 2026  
Kansas:  commercial egg laying breeder flock of 24,000 chickens, the state's second case in 2026.
