Israel report 16 cases of Newcastle Disease since November 2025

Israel experienced a surge in new cases of Newcastle disease from November 2025 through January, according to a recent report from the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH). 
Sixteen flocks were struck during that time, with more than 2.6 million birds affected. 
The flock infections reported by WOAH are: 
  • 26,500 broilers in Emunim 
  • 119,400 broilers in Maon 
  • 68,400 broilers in Revadim 
  • 118,500 broilers in Maon 
  • 161,790 broilers in Maslul 
  • 198,000 broilers in Maslul 
  • 180,000 broilers in Rannen 
  • 70,000 broilers in Rannen 
  • 194,151 broilers in Zerua 
  • 105,000 broilers in Gittit 
  • 138,000 broilers in Ram-On 
  • 120,000 broilers in Zeruas
  • 180,000 broilers in Devira 
  • 44,000 birds, classified only as domestic poultry, in Talme Bilu 
  • 80,000 birds not classified in Rewaya 120,000 birds not classified in Zerua
