Sheena spent 4 years near the bottom of the chart in the 1960s and 5 years in the same location in the 1980s.  Sheena Easton gave the name a brief meteoric period of popularity:  two years in the top 100 (1984 and 1985).  She dropped off the chart after 1993.

While Mayor William Moon said people are moving to Oil City, Councilman Ron Gustafson said he was not encouraged by the statistics and commented that the council needs to show potential residents that the city is cared for by officials.
“The more we make repairs, the more we clean up and so forth – those are the tasks at hand that we can do,” Gustafson explained. “We have a responsibility here for the functions of the city…and we need to keep making progress there – waterlines, sewers functioning – if we’re going to attract people back.”

Take a closer look, Mayor.

Disappearing cities and boroughs of the Keystone State: Bradford, Pennsylvania (2020 census update)

Bradford's 2022 estimated population decreased 2% since the 2020 census.  Its population is down 60% since its 1930 peak of 19,306.  The city has fewer residents than it did in 1880.

Bradford Era, 5/16/2023
“For rural Pennsylvania to increase or sustain its current population, it must rely on in-migration,” the study concluded.
“While some rural areas did attract new residents through in-migration, most did not.”
The local region was not in the area where new residents moved in. Those areas were generally located to the northeast, southwest and northwest parts of the state.
The report noted that rural Pennsylvania’s population is aging. One in five people in rural Pennsylvania are 65 and older. “
With an aging population, an increase in deaths is inevitable,” the study concluded. “The bottom line is that the trend of more deaths than births will not change in the near future, and will have implications on school enrollments, workforce participation rates, and volunteerism.”

Welcome to the fantasy factory: Foxconn plans to boost EV production from 6 to 350,000 at Lordstown

Details contained in a draft air pollution permit from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency to Foxconn affiliate, Foxconn EV System LLC, state the emissions upgrade would increase vehicle production from 75,000 per year to 350,000.
“The project will allow Foxconn to produce a variety of vehicles, including electric,” the paperwork states. “Foxconn is making the necessary changes to the existing permitted equipment at the facility to account for the increased production volume.”

The plant is currently idle.

His trip out West comes as he has been working to reset a campaign confronting financial pressures and a static position in the field trailing Trump. The former president has remained a front-runner despite his mounting legal problems, including the possibility of indictment in a special counsel investigation into his efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
"The more people see Governor DeSantis and hear his forward-thinking plan for our nation's comeback, the more inspired they become to vote for him for president," campaign spokesperson Andrew Romeo said in a statement.
Andrew, maybe you should talk to GOP voters in New Hampshire.

Meet the nut you've never heard of who's gunning for the GOP presidential nomination

HeadlineDes Moines Register, 7/20/2023
Poll results:  Real Clear Politics
Johnson, who has never held elective office and knows he's an unfamiliar face in a crowded GOP field, told about a dozen voters last week that he's "pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, anti-woke and anti-China," — and "if you don't like it, well, tough."
He also touted his "2 cents" plan — a focal point in his campaign that involves slashing 2 cents off every dollar of federal discretionary spending — and pushed to finish building the wall on the southern border.
Apart from that, he said he loves America and wants to restore the American dream. That he, himself, is living the American dream.
