According to information from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), the presence of HPAI was confirmed at a commercial meat duck farm in LaGrange County on December 15.
The affected flock included 14,300 birds. Indiana has had more commercial poultry flocks struck by HPAI than any other state in 2025. With the latest situation, Indiana has had 66 flocks affected, most of which have been in LaGrange or bordering counties.
