MISCREANT PREACHERS: "Wrongdoing" in the Name of the Lord (#259 in a series)

In late 2025, the Upstate New York District of the Nazarene learned of allegations against Geistdorfer, then pastor of Owego Church of the Nazarene (ON). Olivia Metcalf, district superintendent, told The Roys Report (TRR) that the denomination responded promptly. 

“The Upstate New York District was informed of credible allegations of wrongdoing by Mr. Geistdorfer, which it takes very seriously,” Metcalf wrote. “Accordingly, the District removed Mr. Geistdorfer from ministry at Owego Church of the Nazarene. We are working with the appropriate authorities to address these issues.” 

The district didn’t specify the type of wrongdoing or clarify the date of Geistdorfer’s removal.
