Thad Randazzo reports:

A former pastor charged with molesting a child and possessing child pornography will face trial April 20 at the Manatee County Courthouse. 

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office received information in June 2024 that Jonathan Elwing was using cryptocurrency to purchase inappropriate photos of children. 

Church meets for first time since pastor arrest Deputies searched both his home and the church where he worked, finding graphic images of children. 

Elwing faces multiple charges including child sexual battery, molestation and possession of child pornography.
