Brian McVicar reports:
Residents pushed back against a proposed 32-unit housing development on the city’s Northwest Side Wednesday evening, saying the project would flood the neighborhood with traffic, endanger pedestrians and reduce greenspace.
The concerns were raised during a community meeting at Shawmut Hills School, which drew roughly 200 people. The school abuts the 5-acre lot at 2450 7th St. NW where Adam Rogalski, an East Grand Rapids developer, wants to build 32 duplexes.
