The Madison Plan Commission approved this design for a 15-story, 263-unit apartment building in July 2023.

Nicole Pollock reports:
It’s been over two years now since demolition began at a 12-story building on Downtown Madison’s West Wilson Street. To the frustration of both the building’s owner and the city, the three-level underground parking garage remains.

Middleton developer Terrence Wall, whose company The Moment Residences bought the property at 131 W. Wilson St. in 2022, said he was forced to delay demolishing the parking garage for safety reasons while he waited for the city to approve the 15-story apartment building he plans to construct there.
