Henderson, 34, was arrested at his Gig Harbor home by Pierce County Sheriff’s Department deputies in April 2024 after five female students from Evergreen Elementary School reported being assaulted during school hours.. 

The younger teen told investigators Neal lured her to the church in April under the pretense of moving items, then made sexual comments about her appearance, locked the church doors, and hugged her in a way she described as uncomfortable.

Henderson’s father, Chris Henderson, who is the lead pastor at Wellspring Fellowship, expressed support for his son after he was charged, describing him as a man of “the highest character and quality.” The church placed Jordan Henderson on a leave of absence after he was charged.
