Far-right Ottawa Impact member and former @miottawa Commission chair gets called out for conflict of interest hire

mlive, 2/25/2025

John Tunison writes:
Commissioner Jacob Bonnema on Tuesday said he didn’t think Kallman Legal was a good fit for Ottawa County in 2023 because they had little experience with municipal law.
He also accused Moss, who championed hiring Kallman Legal from the beginning, of “self dealing” because Moss' business partner is related to the two principal attorneys at Kallman Legal Group.
Bonnema’s comments led to a brief back-and-forth exchange between himself and Moss.
Moss has refuted claims that a conflict of interest existed.
