“I am sorry for what many of you had to endure over the last two years,” Teeples said. “Today we start anew.” 

Teeples didn’t specifically mention the board’s past majority faction, known as Ottawa Impact, as the hardship that employees managed to endure. 

But his reference was obvious to a packed board room during the Thursday, Jan. 2, Ottawa County Commission organizational meeting.
