First it was Ottawa Impact, now it's bird flu. Don't know which is worse!

The affected commercial poultry flock in Ottawa County is currently under quarantine and the birds will be depopulated to prevent disease spread and ensure the safety of the commercial food supply. 

In the past week, commercial poultry outbreaks have also been confirmed in seven other states, including South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, and Minnesota. 

In the last 30 days, the USDA says 60 commercial flocks in the U.S. have tested positive for the virus and more than 14 million birds have been affected.
