Once again far right members of Ottawa Impact ignore the rules

A special committee of commissioners -- all affiliated with the conservative political platform Ottawa Impact -- on Oct. 1 decided to pick the Grand Rapids firm W Talent Solutions as the search firm. 

Joe Moss, who chairs both the county board and the special committee, said he had researched several firms and he liked W Talent Solutions because of its Grand Rapids connections. 

Ottawa County is looking for a new administrator because former Administrator John Gibbs was fired in late February for misconduct. Gibbs has sued the county over the firing.
