GET ME REWRITE: Chickens come home to roost for far-right Ottawa Impact spendthrifts @miottawa Commission

Headline:  mlive,

John Tunison writes:
The last two years -- 2023 and 2024 -- brought unanticipated costs to Ottawa County with settlements in four lawsuits and severance payouts to at least four employees.
All of the expenses can be tied to the period of board control by the highly conservative Ottawa Impact political platform, which recently ended.
The four lawsuits have cost the county $515,000 in settlements as well as $188,000 in opposing-attorney legal fees in a case involving no direct settlement money.
The four severance deals have cost the county $518,000, for a total of $1.22 million in settlements, legal fees and severance deals. That total is not counting any of the county’s own legal fees for the lawsuits.  [emphasis added]
