GET ME REWRITE: More than a month into First Felon Donald Trump's administration, Susie Wiles is clearly NO good at managing her boss

David B. Cohen opines:
One of the most important roles a modern White House chief of staff must assume is that of guardian — protecting the president’s political interests from those who would seek to undermine them in the media, Congress, within the administration, and even from the president themselves.
Either Wiles lacked the political instincts to prevent the Musk presser from happening or, more likely, did not have the authority within the White House to stop it. In either case, it does not bode well either for Wiles’ long-term success in the White House or that of the administration[emphasis added]
