MISCREANT PREACHERS: Child sexual abuse in the Name of the Lord (#391 in a series)

A former youth minister at a prominent evangelical Episcopal church in northern Virginia has been federally indicted on charges of grooming and sexually abusing boys during a ministry career spanning nearly two decades. 

Jeffrey Turner Taylor, 66, of Milford, Ohio, was arrested and appeared in federal court Monday. He was charged with enticing minors for illegal sexual activity and traveling with the intent to engage in illegal sexual activity with minors, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia announced Tuesday.

"I am afraid that when I come again my God will humble me before you, and I will be grieved over many who have sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they have indulged."  (2 Corinthians 12:21)
