Child molestation in the Name of the Lord (#110 in a series)

Rodger Strong, 69, is accused of molesting a 5-year-old girl on five different occasions between Jan. 1, 2024, and May 7, 2024, according to court records. 

The victim’s mother alerted police to the abuse on March 5, 2025. As police questioned Strong on March 7, he said he served as a pastor for 40 years, most recently at the Orland Church at the Nazarene, and planned on retiring the following Sunday, documents say. 

According to a probable cause affidavit, Strong admitted to the abuse after originally blaming the victim.
