Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels said plans to tear down the vacant shopping center and redevelop the site are on schedule.
According to Nickels, Green Bay-area developer Tycore Built could start prep work on the site as soon as demolition is complete. A mix of single- and multi-family homes,
Actual construction likely will begin in spring, or maybe over winter if it is a light winter.
