Best to avoid this ultra-processed food product, with or without a recall

Project packaging and headline:  WATT Poultry, 10/6/2025

So this had been going on for more than a year!

1. Foster Farms is recalling approximately 3,843,040 pounds of chicken corn dog products that may be contaminated with extraneous material, specifically pieces of wood embedded in the batter, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The products subject to recall were produced between July 30, 2024, and August 4, 2025.

MISCREANT PREACHERS: Inappropriate conduct with a vulnerable patient in the Name of the Lord (#181 in a series)

Headline and screengrab:  WYFF, 10/9/2025

Stephanie Moore' report might make some folk wonder if this was a repeat offense:

A former mayor and pastor in South Carolina is accused of inappropriate conduct with a vulnerable patient inside a hospital room.

Johnnie Waller, a former mayor of Calhoun Falls, is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

A release from the Greenwood Police Department said Waller is "a community member known to visit patients under a pastoral role." [emphasis added]

"Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."  (Galatians 5:19-21)

What's the matter with Iowa? GOP gins up racist and sexist onslaught against Des Moines School Board

Headline:  Des Moines Register, 10/10/2025

Nick El Hajj reports:

Since then, board members said the fallout, amplified by partisan attacks from Republican officials, has taken a personal toll. Chair Jackie Norris filed a Des Moines police report Oct. 3 documenting “multiple unwanted and heinous messages” sent to her after Roberts’ arrest.

The report, obtained by the Des Moines Register, lists examples, including a message that read: “Thank you for setting DEI back at least a quarter century! And once again showing why women are incapable of being in charge.”

Oh, the irony, when you consider the words and actions of the Lyin' Kings.
