Democratic incumbent Tom Suozzi greatly outperforms GOP challenger Michael LiPetri Jr. in New York CD3 primary elections

A total of 27,123 votes were cast in the Democratic primary.

 

A total of 13,522 votes were cast in the Republican primary.

This outcome indicates a much greater degree of enthusiasm on the part of Democrats.

 

Is the GOP just throwing away money?  If so, good for them!
