A Peoria pastor has been arrested for dissemination of harmful materials to a juvenile.
Pekin Police said 47-year-old Michael S. Ritchason, a Pekin resident and Lead Pastor of Riverside Community Church, was arrested on Oct. 8 for allegedly disseminating harmful materials, which is a Class 4 Felony.
Ritchason is a former elementary school teacher and a former Pekin City councilman.
Chief Seth Ranney said the police department was notified of evidence relating to that charge on Oct. 5. Ranney did not provide any additional details.
