After a five-year absence, the furniture, rugs and lamps of Pottery Barn are returning to Madison. 

Hilldale has announced that the upscale home furnishing retailer will occupy part of what had been an AMC theater at the south end of the shopping center. 

No opening date has been announced, but the store will also serve as a centerpiece to a revamped part of the shopping center that, at some point, will expand further south
