Kimberly Wethel reminds readers that Lazar was in cahoots with Scott Walker during his 1st term as governor:
Lazar joined the DOJ in November 2010 after litigating civil cases for a private law firm in Milwaukee for two decades. At the DOJ, she worked in the state programs and administrative review department — what most people might call “the boring stuff,” Lazar said.
Lazar was one of the state’s attorneys who defended additional security protocols at the Capitol on behalf of former Gov. Scott Walker during protests against his signature Act 10 law, which eliminated most collective bargaining rights for most public employees. She later defended the Act 10 law itself and the state’s 2011 Republican legislative maps, which the state Supreme Court would later find to be an illegal gerrymander. [emphiasis added]
