Robert Brooks (R-Saukville) has represented the 60th Assembly District since January 2015. Redistricting puts him in the 59th District, where he is running for re-election.
Ty Bodden (R-Hilbert)a currently represents the 59th district. He is running for re-election in the 3rd District.
WisPolitics rates the district as 75.2% Democratic.
“It has been a tremendous honor serving the 6oth District and I will truly miss the communities of Port Washington, Cedarburg, Jackson and Trenton but I look forward to representing the 59th and meeting all the new constituents that have been added to my district,” said Brooks.
Brooks said he looks forward to bringing his proven record of conservative leadership to the 59th district and commits to representing their interest in Madison not that of special interest groups or party leadership.
