One very bright spot is Irving and Dorothy Levy Hall. It’s in the design phase, and when it’s done it’s going to allow us to move the History Department and the Center for Jewish Studies out of Humanities and bring together under one roof six other Letters & Science departments that are now spread out across campus. This is a very long-awaited project – the last time we built a new academic building for humanities departments in the College of Letters and Science was 50 years ago.
