The site was formerly occupied by Babe's Grill and Bar for 30 years. The original redevelopment plan called for the restaurant to occupy approximately one-third of the ground fl0or space.

Construction started in January 2020, and two months later the world was shutting down as a result of the coronavirus. The fresh start in new digs never happened. And as you can see from the photo below, the space remains vacant.
