Vance will appear in Iowa April 30. Axios, which first reported the news, said Vance would also attend an event with the Turning Point USA at Iowa State University in Ames. 

Nunn is seeking reelection to Iowa's 3rd Congressional District, which is perpetually among the nation's most competitive. It is one of 17 U.S. House seats rated as a "toss-up" by nonpartisan elections analysts at the Cook Political Report, and it is one of the top targets for Democrats seeking to flip control of the chamber.  [emphasis added]

The district spans 21 counties and includes the cities of Des Moines, West Des Moines, Ottumwa and Winterset.
