Headline: Des Moines Register,
Kate Kealey reports:
Republican U.S. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks is the sole co-sponsor on a joint resolution proposed by Rep. Diana Harshbarger, R-Tenn., that would reject the Environmental Protection Agency's ruling that bans the manufacture, processing and distribution of trichloroethylene.
The EPA order, passed in December, would ban TCE in most cases by the end of 2025, according to the ruling. The chemical has been used in the U.S. since the early 1920s but has been linked to cancer in those with prolonged exposure.
How big of a Trump sycophant is this Iowa GOP marionette?
VERY!
