Trafalgar’s lead pollster Robert Cahaly is wholly responsible for the 2022 GOP wet dream otherwise known as the “Red Wave”.

He projected that Peter Welch, Vermont Democratic candidate for US Senate, would win his race by 5.5% percntage points.  He won by 38.9.   How can you take anyone that far off the mark seriously?

He snookered the New York Times that Patty Murray, US Senator from the State of Washington, was locked in a close race.

She won re-election by a substantial margin of 11.4 percentage points.

You'd think the media would have learned a lesson from 2022.  Apparently not.
