Madeline Heim reports:
The number of measles cases reported in Wisconsin jumped sharply Oct. 30 as the state now nears 400 cases this year.
Measles case numbers surpassed 300 just one week ago.
The 392 cases include a case in one new county, Marquette County. The person acquired measles through out-of-state travel, and the case is not tied to other cases in the state, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
Most of the cases are still clustered in Grant, Iowa and Lafayette counties, where the outbreak began this summer, but other cases have emerged in Vernon, Chippewa, Rock, Richland, Jackson and Marathon counties, as well as Marquette County.
