Wisconsin 2026 elections: Democrat Robin Lillseve challenges freshman GOP incumbent Rob Kreibich in 28th Assembly District

Prior to redistricting, the 28th Assembly District covered portions of St. Croix, Polk, Burnett, and Barron counties.

The new boundaries shift the district to the south to include most of St. Croix County, the eastern half of Pierce County, and the western half of Dunn County.  The Town of Somerset in St. Croix County is the only municipality that remains in the 28th.

Rob Kreibich was elected to the Wisconsin Assembly by a more than 30-point margin in 2024 in a solidly red district.  Democratic challenger Robin Lillseve needs to ramp things up.
