GOP Rep. Rob Brooks announced today he won’t seek reelection this fall after 12 years in the Assembly.
Brooks, who turns 61 in July, is the ninth member of the Assembly to announce plans to retire or seek higher office.
He served 14 years on the Ozaukee County Board prior to his 2014 election to the Assembly.
It's a safely Republican district.
