100 Years of Frank Sinatra: "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"


Frank Sinatra recorded "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" for Columbia Records in Hollywood in July  1947.   According to Popular Song, it ranks as #30 among the top 40 popular songs of 1947.

Introduced by Judy Garland in the 1944 film Meet Me in St. Louis, the song was written by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane, who also wrote such Garland standards as "The Boy Next Door" and "The Trolley Song".
