Omaha Library To Close For Renovation. (Metro Neighborhood News, 7/21/2011)
Excerpt: The Milton R. Abrahams Branch of the Omaha Public Library, south of 90th and Fort Street, will be closed for renovations August 1. The $1.2 million project is funded by the city’s capital improvement program.
Among the improvements users will see once the project is completed: centralized service desk, a computer lab, a small group meeting room, a teen room, an expanded children’s section, new carpet & furniture, acoustical ceilings to reduce noise, laptop tables, and energy efficient lighting.
