Train D1fferent takes over former Payless and Name of the Game locations at West Towne Mall

Train D1fferent offers a vareity of workout programs.  It does not have interior mall access.

Payless ShoeSource closing all 2,100 U.S. stores, starting liquidation sales Sunday.  (USA Today, 2/16/2019)
"We expect all stores to remain open until at least the end of March and the majority will remain open until May," the company said in a statement to USA TODAY. "This process does not affect the company’s franchise operations or its Latin American stores, which remain open for business as usual.”
Payless.com is no longer accepting online orders but its store locator was still working early Saturday.
The Topeka, Kansas-based discount shoe retailer had previously filed for bankruptcy protection in 2017 and closed 673 stores.

The few times I've purchased a pair of shoes here, I've been sorely disappointed.  And you can take that literally.

Sears downsized its West Towne store in 2017, slashing its square footage by two-thirds.   The space they relinquished at that time is now occupied by Total Wine and Dave and Buster's.

Hobby Lobby moved from South Towne to West Towne in June 2021.  The store has both extreioer and interior mall access.  It's not just an anchor store privilage anymore.  (Take a look at the east facade of the mall on your next visit.)

GET ME REWRITE: 'Tax-dodging millionaire' Duey Stroebel refuses to schedule a hearing on nonpartisan redistricting bill

"I appreciate Senator Kooyenga’s input, but I do not plan to give SB 389 a public hearing,” said a statement from [tax-dodging millionaire] Sen. Duey Stroebel, a Saukville Republican who serves as chairman of the Senate Committee on Government Operations.
The standoff over the legislation comes as lawmakers prepare for a court battle over drawing new legislative and congressional districts. The districts must be redrawn every decade to make sure districts have equal populations. Where the lines go can give one political party an upper hand in elections.
