He positioned himself as the future of the Republican Party, the next leader of Trumpism after 2028. And when the time came to prove his allegiance, he did not hesitate—not even when it meant standing by a man who openly called for the normalization of hate against people like his own wife and children.
Yet, when asked whether V .Vance was his political successor, Trump refused to commit.
