 Acting as a stooge for Elon Musk.

"You should not be surprised that Elon Musk is playing a role in the efficiency of government, because the president before the election said he was going to play such a role," Grassley said in a call with Iowa reporters Wednesday.  [emphasis]

Republican President Donald Trump tapped Musk to head up the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, and find ways to cut spending and regulations across the federal government. 

This week, Trump made Musk a "special government employee." The designation allows Musk to work for the federal government for a limited amount of time, although he will not receive a paycheck.

Gomer, we're not surprised he's in the position.  It's the fact that he's an unelected official usurping the power of Congress.
