Royce has had something of a roller-coaster experience on the baby names chart.  Wasn't sure whether to get on or off during the first decade of the 20th century.  Initially peaked at #283 in 1935 and then commenced a bumpy descent.  Took a break from 2001 to 2005.  Quickly shot up to the midrange of the chart.  Hit a second peak at #392 in 2019 only to start another descent.
