Cassidy added Sunday that health officials who changed the schedule “totally bypassed” normal procedures by not utilizing a scientific review committee and not going through the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). Kennedy previously removed all 17 members of the ACIP panel in June and appointed a trove of loyalists to replace them. 

“I wish the people making this decision knew what I knew,” Cassidy said.

And tens of millions of Americans wish you would have had the balls to say 'NO' to Kennedy's nomination as Secretary of Health and Human Services."
