100 Years of Frank Sinatra: "You'll Never Walk Alone"


Frank Sinatra recorded "You'll Never Walk Alone" for Columbia Records in Hollywood in May 1945, with an arrangement by Axel Stordahl, who served as Sinatra's musical direction into the 1950s.

The Popular Song website ranks it as #22 among the top 40 popular songs of 1945.



"You'll Never Walk Alone" is from the Richard Rodgers/Oscar Hammerstein II musical "Carousel", which opened at the Majestic Theater on Broadway on April 19, 1945, where it had a run of 890 performances.
