Apology not accepted: Sports announcers blames his racism on blood sugar levels

    USA Today, 3/12/2021
Rowan, while broadcasting on the NFHS Network, can be heard saying, "They're kneeling? (Expletive) (racial slur). I hope Norman get their ass kicked. (Expletive) them. I hope they lose...
"They're going to kneel like that? Hell no."
Rowan apologized Friday and blamed his use of racist language on his blood sugar levels.

Feeling a range of highs and lows is not uncommon if you have diabetes. Your blood sugar impacts how you feel and can contribute to mood swings. Poor management of blood glucose can lead to negative moods and a lower quality of life.

Which doesn't explain or excuse the hot-lava flow of racist play-by-play commentary during the National Anthem.

The popularity of Linda as a baby name is graphed here.  Let's take a look at June.

June's best yers occurred during the first half of the 20th century, when she spent 27 years (1915-1941) in the top 100, peaking at #39 in 1925.  She ran out of gas in 1986 but launched herself to an impressive (so far) comeback 22 years later.
