Montgomery County went from a 28.9 percentage point GOP advantage in 1984 to a 26.2 percentage point Democratic advantage in 2020. Quite the reversal.
3rd party votes: 17.7% in 1992, 10% in 1996, 4.5% in 2016
(Alabama segregationist George Wallace
received 6.4% of the vote in 1968)
Trump received 22,927 more votes than he did in 2016, a 14 % increase. But his share of the votes decreased nearly 1 percentage point.
And its residents, on average, have a much higher level of education. Definitely not MAGA territory.
Biden received 63,429 more votes than Clinton did in 2016, an increase of 25%. Biden increased Clinton's share of the vote 4 percentage points.
