As the 9/5/2024 article points out:
Across the nation, investigative reports have been publicly released following numerous other school shootings, including at Columbine High School in Colorado, Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut and Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. Media organizations also sued for and won release of the report in the shootings at Uvalde Elementary School in Texas.
From the 9/6/2024 article:
"So, the county attorney is choosing to not release the report on the Perry school shooting,” Bushbaum told the Register. “My first question is, what are they hiding?"
Ritchie, after saying Thursday she did not plan to release the report, has declined to answer further questions from the Des Moines Register.
