Mr. Common Sense

There is one adult in the room.   A third Republican candidate, Rep. Duey Stroebel, R-Saukville, issued a statement criticizing the decision to boycott the forums.

“When the professional politicians are afraid to talk to people who disagree with them, you get Washington-style gridlock,” Stroebel said. “Unlike Senator Leibham, I am willing to tell people where I stand on the issues facing America today.”

How many politicians ever debate in campaigns anymore? I presume many of them have no debating skills aside from high school classes.

They don't debate on assembly floors either. They read statements.
