Glenn Grothman, Affirmative Action, and the Demographics of Wisconsin's 6th Congressional District

Sen. Glenn Grothman's affirmative action plan is misguided. (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, 4/27/2014)

"Misguided" is Grothman's specialty.    Grothman, who is running to replace outgoing U.S. Rep. Tom Petri of Fond du Lac in the 6th Congressional District, believes that affirmative action policies are "divisive." He has it exactly wrong. Such policies seek to eliminate the divisiveness that has kept too many minorities locked out of the mainstream of American life.
