Maude showed a glimmer of her former self (53rd most popular name in 1890s, 25th most popular name in 1880s) during the opening years of the 20th century, but it was mostly downhill after that.  She disappeared from view after 1950.

The two-term governor hit another historic low, with 81 percent of New Jersey voters disapproving of the job he's doing -- including a majority, 58 percent, of Republicans, according to a new Quinnipiac University Poll. Christie has officially polled lower than any governor in modern history.
