Marissa Payne reports on how Kimmi is needlessly stirring up resentments in her last months in office:
The government task force unveiled its final report Tuesday, Oct. 21, containing 45 recommendations for streamlining state and local government.
But some of those proposals are already meeting resistance. Reynolds didn't embrace, for example, proposals to change the Iowa Public Employees' Retirement System and said the state already has some form of merit pay for teachers, two of DOGE's more controversial ideas.
Unions representing public sector employees resoundingly condemned those proposals, and the idea of altering IPERS drew swift bipartisan opposition.
Bottom line: "Fuck state workers" seems to be Kimmi's mantra.
